Levers, rollers and keys on a flute are bewildering and so I find it hypnotic when I observe my wife confidently playing her instrument.

Dragonfly 1

Dragonflies do not make good sketching subjects, they are fidgety and nervous and cannot sit still long enough before the first wing can be drawn. 

To sketch a dragonfly it must be either 

1. Dead

or

2. Observed quietly from a photograph

Rialto Theatre

The Rialto is a big attraction in town, as it shows the latest and greatest pictures. This week; Guys and Dolls, starring Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons and Frank Sinatra.

Make sure you get there early because it does start promptly.
